It's not about edit summaries in that sense. Log entries need to be full sentences. The Wikipedia article on [[Word order]] should make it clear why this is necessary. It cannot be reverted. The two options are to either make horrible workarounds (like we did with IRC log output) or improve page history views to handle log entries better. I will keep my stance and not do any workarounds.
