I think people using Opera Mini do so to minimise data charges. Also since
javascript is processed by a proxy server the interactivity is going to be
reduced. I therefore think the users of this browser will probably be better
served by a non-javascript site.

This change:

makes the menu accessible to opera mini meaning at least they can access key
functionality

I think we should focus on getting the experience right for the more cutting
edge phones and worry about what the experience should be for users of Opera
Mini later (note Opera Mobile we do give javascript to)
