Summary: Should not 'Transcript' rather be 'Transcription' ? Product: MediaWiki extensions Version: any Platform: All URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcription_(linguistics) OS/Version: All Status: NEW Keywords: i18n Severity: enhancement Priority: Normal Component: MetaVidWiki AssignedTo: d...@ucsc.edu ReportedBy: bugzilla.wikime...@publi.purodha.net CC: bugzilla.wikime...@publi.purodha.net In some messages of MetaVidWiki, there is the word "transcript" being used. When trying to translate them, I got a strong impression, that these messages are talking about a transcription rather then a transcript. See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcription_(linguistics) If so, these messages should be amended. (I could do so, if need be) Btw. - several MetaVidWiki messages are hard to translate, unless explained, because one often can choose among several similar wordings meaning almost the same but not quite. So, if possible, add some hints to the /qqq message documentation, or enter them in translatewiki.net Thank you. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
