Currently you could use any of the image editors from https://play.google.com/store/search?q=Image+Editor&c=apps&price=1 to edit the images before uploading. You can 'share to Commons' from most of the editors, so this should not be too bad. Cropping and rotate are essential features, that we'll probably add something in the future.
