--- Comment #5 from Brion Vibber <br...@wikimedia.org> --- 1) is probably slowed down by so many items being inserted at once; we'll want to make sure it's only fetching the ones shown onscreen. 2) might be related to 1 -- if it's inserting items from oldest to newest then the grid view will be constantly changing what's in the top couple of cells.
