Then I played a bit with Firefox' "Firebug" extension (note that loading https://it.wikivoyage.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Gadget-AutofocusRicerca.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&169180 takes ages only for the Pisa article) and suddenly the Pisa article once showed correctly for me.
