I'm sad because we tried our best and so far, NOTHING happened. Most of our
most active patrollers simply gave up (myself included) and not a *single
alternative measure* has been implemented so far - or, should I note, perhaps
we have now lots of inactive rollbackers recently promoted). But the damage is
done and we *looove* this kind of thing since we're used to "luminars" using
force (or avoiding to do so when asked) to keep a community in line: our
beloved-coup d'etat-prone military! Technocracy, huh? And with WMF help! I'm
shocked and I'm sure it'll help a lot with the credibility of the VERY FEW WMF
members trying to implement "the official plan" in our community. It is very
easy to preach the "'we need new editors' gospel" when, behind the scenes, this
is the kind of s*** we get even with overwhelming community support (even if it
is for a short time while, we hope(d), some of you guys would snap out of this
DEVELOPER-PROTECTOR-OF-THE-WIKI-SPIRIT-ATTITUDE and actually DO SOMETHING to
help us!). One year is to much, really? What about 3 months conditioned to
something actually being done?
