Well, it's related in the sense that Echo probably makes that bug disappear,
but this bug is worse because it's not about the new message indicator but
about the notifications, which 1) can't be deleted, 2) don't just tell you
something happened on your talk as the old message bar, 3) don't go away after
visiting the talk.
