Quite a nonsense. :-/ Small wikis with hundreds or thousands of articles can be simply updated much more often. Also, half a year update to very often changing special pages such as Uncategorized*, Double/Broken redirs etc. doesn't make a sense. Rather disable and hide such special pages completely than provide obsolete results for half a year which will only confuse people such as they do now.
