I think with any CTA for signup we really have to "sell" the value. is watchlisting an article a selling point for a new user? maybe… but I'm guessing not, for many users this might seem like a very odd behavior "Add an article to a list of articles for which i am interested in waiting for changes to happen to them" Sure it will appeal to some people, but I'm not sure its our biggest selling point for creating an account.
