           Summary: Switch Permalink Parameters around
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: User interface
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org
        ReportedBy: ff...@gmx.de

I think from a usability point of view, having permanent links like

http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=67230792&title=Ludwig_Feuerbach

would be better than having

http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ludwig_Feuerbach&oldid=67230792

like it is now.

Most people aren't developers. They usually expect Wikipedia links to end with
the search term. putting it at the end makes it easier to see where the link is
going and should make no difference for the software.
