leaflet.js is great for displaying maps and data. :)
There is Leaflet Draw for editing vector data (e.g. polygons or lines).

In the backend, we still need new DataValue(s) and DataTypes. We shoudla also
think about using the geojson format whenever possible for storing the actual
data and in external representation. (api, dumps, etc.)
Supporting KML would be awesome but will require some more thought and might be
more tricky to integrate with Wikidata. ContentHandler and another content type
might be suitable for supporting KML.
