this is a bug with the upstream firefox video support. When issuing a play
request on a video that just got inserted into a page, the player appears to
play 1/4 of a second, stops playing to buffer more media then plays the rest of
the clip. I will try and get this fixed upstream as well as add a hack to the
javascript player to not issue a "play" request until it has fired the
canplaythough event or we have buffered a few seconds of the clip... (sometimes
the canplaythough event is not fired)
