On a related note http://bits.wikimedia.org could say something more
informative than "bits and pieces live here!", though there is not so much
there that people might be interested in viewing.

This is probably even more important than a real home page for
noc.wikimedia.org... on a normal page's source, bits.wikimedia.org shows up
around 14 times. It'd be nice of people knew what exactly the site they're
loading stuff from is for.
