Thanks for letting us know about this Matt. I tried an Amazon donation this
morning and didn't have to change my password, and our donor services team
tells me they haven't seen any previous reports of this issue.
It seems like it must be a one-off issue with your friend's Amazon account, and
they should contact Amazon directly if it's a problem. There's not much we can
do from our end.
