Summary: SF special pages could use regular forms Product: MediaWiki extensions Version: any Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: Normal Component: SemanticForms AssignedTo: yaro...@gmail.com ReportedBy: dan.bol...@gmail.com CC: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org For example, the form for 'Special:CreateProperty' could be generated by a form on the wiki, i.e. 'Form:CreateProperty'. Their would be two advantages (I think): 1) Most importantly, pages in the Property namespace could be associated with the form so that clicking on a non-existent property would take the user to the form instead of to a blank 'create page' page. 2) Users (or just SysOps) could tweak the form. Users may not want to use these forms to create the properties, but I guess the usual 'edit' / 'edit with form' tabs would appear a usual. Could any / all of the SF special 'create' pages be implemented as regular forms? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
