However, the reason I installed Firefogg in the first place was to be able to convert videos for uploading to the Commons, as suggested at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Converting_video#Firefogg: "Firefogg is a cross platform browser extension for Firefox which is supported by UploadWizard to automatically convert and upload almost any video file. Just download and install firefogg and use the UploadWizard as normal." If for some reason Firefogg is no longer compatible with Firefox, then this guideline needs to be amended.
