Steps to reproduce:
1. Logged in user navigates to the wikimedia main page. (Mac - Safari 5.0.2,
Mac Firefox 3.6.3)
2. Click on the 'My preferences' link.
3. Input 'Email' and click on the 'Save' button.
Actual results:
'<email-address-validity-valid>' text displayed next to the 'Email' field
only in Mac OS.
