--- Comment #33 from Phillip Patriakeas <dragonlordofxant...@gmail.com> 2011-02-14 21:24:18 UTC --- Template coders very heavily use transclusion as "part of the hidden logic" of templates - there are things that are far cheaper and easier to do with a transclusion than without (for instance, parameter validation and preprocessing, when the validated/preprocessed parameters are used in more than just one or two places in the template proper).
