--- Comment #40 from Nemo_bis <federicol...@tiscali.it> 2011-07-14 13:56:21 UTC --- *clap clap* This obviously covers only "local" interwikis, doesn't it? (In reply to comment #39) > Links with Text will show up > in the sidebar as "Text" and links with prefix:Title will show up as > "Project name". The links are still shown inline in the wikitext (so it > doesn't > break everything). Links with :prefix:Title (extra colon) are not shown in > the sidebar. What happens if there are multiple links to the same project? I'm not sure it's wise to show "Text" in the sidebar, it could be half a sentence. For both points, it's probably better to adopt the usual implementation of interproject templates, which AFAIK show only the first link to each project and show only the name of the project in the sidebar, leaving the details to the page body. In any case, this will probably require some fixing of links which will need the extra colon, which will acquire a new meaning (although consistent with its current one). This shouldn't be a disaster, though, because inline interwikis to random pages (no directly equivalent to the page they're in) are deprecated on most projects, AFAIK; probably, it would be useful to ignore interwikis in references, which could be dozens on a single page and are usually considered the right way to link whatever page on another project (like any website). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
