TASK DESCRIPTION

We should adopt the "Extended Date/Time Format Specification" (EDTF) profile [1] for ISO 8601, which allows for, for example, uncertain and vague dates, for use in properties with a "time" datatype.

ISO 8601-2019, due in the middle of that year, is expected to support all of the features of EDTF.

Disclosure: I contributed, partly as a Wikimedian, to the draft of this specification.
