Thank you for doing this and the pragmatic solution.
There was a meeting with UX today where, amongst others, the need for
storybook (or a comparable tool) was agreed upon and that the value it provides
justifies certain efforts even if they do not //directly// advance user stories.
Consequently, both during regular stories (add all components) as well as
one-off technical tasks (like setting up the hosting however we consider
"proper", or creating a shared [termbox/bridge] repository), have their
"official" place in our work.
Of course, when it comes to strictly technical tasks, no non-dev will help us
write these - but we should definitely get tech leads as well as possibly EMs
on board to make sure we leverage cross-hike synergies.
The cowboy-ed solution here can act as inspiration and it helped us
understand what is easily possible. Maybe those that are interested and
gathered some experience already can join forces to create a story to solve
this in a non-"hack"ish way? I'm in => T227285

challenge. that might even be interesting to FUN (they're also using storybook
now afaik!?). I only jumped on toolforge because it didn't require any
paperwork on my end and lead to quick results

also imagine having a single service (a single labs instance perhaps instead of
multiple tools) set up that hosts all storybooks, maybe even making components
more discoverable
