We already have a small number of documented divergence <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Indexing/RDF_Dump_Format#WDQS_data_differences> and increasing this number is also problematic. Given the current discussion, it seems that keeping as much backward compatibility as possible at the cost of divergence between Wikidata and WDQS is the way to go.
