@LucasWerkmeister according to the README.md <https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/extensions/Wikibase/+/master/repo/tests/selenium/README.md>, mediawiki-vagrant is the recommended local development environment for running selenium tests for wikibase.
