@Lydia_Pintscher The update is on its way, alongside the deployment of new production schema/environment for this system. If everything works out correctly, this system will be put on regular update schedule that will trigger the update engine every time a new snapshot of the Wikidata JSON dump in hdfs is detected in the WMD Data Lake. However, because of the huge system complexity, coupled with its rather heavy usage of our computational resources and the time that the update takes to complete, it is questionable if something like that is possible at all. I am now experimenting in hope to learn whether it is, or it is not possible to do so. Anyways, the system will be update no later than the end of this week, and probably earlier.
