Hey jsut a note that we saw another failure:

ERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading
authorization packet', system error: 104
Failed.
Couldn't get MAX(page_id) from db.
Not sure who can/should undertake to make the script more resilient but there
it is.
