TASK DESCRIPTION Trying to use the wikibase:mwapi service with a non-existent Wikipedia (e.g. if you make a typo in the language code) gives the unhelpfully vague error "Unknown error: MWAPI request failed". The error message should be clearer to help people work out what the problem is.
