Yay ancient code that does stuff! I'll add a first note on the #techwish <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/wmde-techwish/> perspective: Some of the data these scripts collect is used on our grafana boards. Mainly it's about getting information on how user settings change over time. My wild guess is though, that 80% of the stuff is obsolete and not really needed anymore. For the rest we would need to wait until @Lena_WMDE is back from vacation end of this month. Regarding ownership I guess it's mostly about the count scripts in [1] apart from `dbtables/` `wikibase/` and `wikidata/`. I'm not to sure about everything in #betafeatures <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/betafeatures/> counter [2]. Some things there are defenitly also obsolete. And I guess we're obviously also interested in the cronjob that runs the script [3] executing the aggregations.
