This makes me wonder, how did this came to be that these language names are maintained in multiple places, or is it even intentional? Most of these English-language names in WikibaseLexeme are also available as local name overrides in CLDR extension, and it appears that Special:NewLexeme already uses local name overrides from CLDR extension, too. I realise that ones in CLDR extension are not translateable via translatewiki but wouldn't it be better to add translatewiki support over there?
