TASK DESCRIPTION
At the "Wikidata for Wikimedia Projects"-team, we would like to better
understand the usage patterns of the {{AuthorityControl}} template across wikis.
There are several possible approaches that might generate useful insights:
- On a per-wiki basis, this could be done by querying how often the templates
sitelinked from Template:Authority control (Q3907614)
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3907614> are used.
- How many external identifiers are used in a wiki
- This might be more difficult, because sometimes (how often?) articles are
not using the external identifier Property directly (ex: not using the label
VIAF ID), but only its statement on the Item connected to the article (`P214`)
- also, there is a very large number of external identifiers
- Maybe one could achieve this with a number of "show-case" external
identifiers? (which?)
