daniel added a comment. Oh, I kind of like that idea.... though counting all the Ys can get annoying, when you just get YYYYYYYYYYYYY somewhere. Adding 0s at the end would also make it clearer what/how YYYYYYY is less precise (implying larger years) than YYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
