IMO this would be one step too far if it overrides T91683: Allow specifying lead image <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T91683>. I also note that, if we had https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T91683, this could be done on-wiki by a template that does something along the lines of `{{#pageimage:{{#property:p18}}}}`.
