@jcrespo: Asking my question on here per your request.

We were wondering what your thoughts are for the proposed logging table. See statement_usage.sql (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/336542/19/client/sql/statement_usage.sql) for the schema. The schema is straightforward aside from the “su_statement_exists” boolean which tracks whether the property accessed (e.g. in Lua code) had a corresponding statement in the context of the given entity. For some justification for this boolean, see the “Supply versus demand” section of my research proposal at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Understanding_Wikidata%27s_Value. @Halfak and I can also provide additional justification too.

With regards to your above comment, I will have a database writes estimate shortly.
