Thanks Lydia. Hmm, It seems owned by (P127) already had that "start time" "end time" on its allowed qualifiers constraint. But I did not get any qualifier hints. But as you said, this must be beta, or I need something turned on ?
In Freebase, we had "date mediation" where these things were automatically bolted on when we said a property was of a type "Date Mediator" then it automatically got 2 extra fields of FROM: TO: which are like Wikidata's "start time" "end time". It would be really cool to see simplification in Wikidata to ease the pain.
