Great idea, John. I added the term Biosphere to the B page. I'm not experienced enough in this field to offer original content, so I searched for a resource that I could reuse. I found one easily on the Connexions site (cnx.org), licensed CC-BY:
AP Environmental Science <http://cnx.org/content/col10548/latest/> (AP stands for Advanced Placement, indicating that this resource reflects an introductory college course, organized for use with secondary school students in the US) - lots of good information in this resource from which we can adapt glossary entries. Also, the "how to help" page you created is very useful (see link from main navigator on the glossary pages). I added a reference to the environmental science resource mentioned above and some info about how to attribute. Thanks for getting this all organized. Hopefully many of us can participate in adding entries (you don't need to have expertise to adapt existing information), making this important WE glossary a real collaborative effort.
