If we want to cater for people with extremely small screens, maybe,
but I think most people read their email on a decent sized computer
screen. There should be no need for any of them to scroll down to read
this reply. If people are over-quoting, then that's another issue
entirely. Even if you do have a small screen, Gmail hides quoted text
by default, do other clients not?

Google will find you numerous explanations of why top-posting is a bad
idea, so I won't bother explaining it again here.
