Hi, I was just talking about it during WLM session on Wikimania. See the project made by our local, friendly competitors:
http://otwartezabytki.pl/ At the moment they collect monument data in a collaborative way. First - you can search for the monument, then you can improve data - by better placing the monument on map, changing address to more up-to-date etc. See how easy it is for contributors in comparison with editing wiki-tables... Their next step is to make a separate page about each monument where people will upload their pictures, write stories and descriptions of monuments... -- Tomek "Polimerek" Ganicz http://pl.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Polimerek http://www.ganicz.pl/poli/ http://www.cbmm.lodz.pl/work.php?id=29&title=tomasz-ganicz _______________________________________________ Wiki Loves Monuments mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikilovesmonuments http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org
