Hi Bright, Yes, it is possible to be on multiple teams, and it would not be the first time. There are two possible concerns I could see: conflict of interest and over-committing. I'm only an advisor to the international team at this point so don't speak for them, but this is based on my many years on that team :).
Conflict of interest can easily be managed: just be clear that you have two roles, and leave any possible decisions regarding your national contest to the rest of the international team. But being jury coordinator in both competitions may be hard to resolve, for example. Over-committing really depends on the specific country, and how big your national team is. If your national team really depends on you for most of the work, I would suggest you carefully think about whether you can do both at the same time. This may also depend on the timeline of your role in your national team, and the expected focus of workload of your role in the international team (and any other positions you hold). You will want to make sure those peaks of activity don't overlap too much. In the end: you know your agenda the best, but I'm sure the international team is happy to discuss with you or anyone else who has doubts!
