Hi everyone! I'm very happy to announce that the Affiliations Committee has recognized [1] Kurdish Wikimedians User Group [2] as a Wikimedia User Group. The group aims to increase the Kurdish presence on the Wikimedia projects; by helping contributors from all Kurdish Wikimedia projects to organize and collaborate. Also by promoting the use of Kurdish languages and dialects by organizing events both online and in-person. They also want to help the world to get to know more about the Kurds and strengthen their connections by sharing free knowledge.
