Hey All We at Wiki Project Med have been working on getting Our World in Data interactive graphs functional within MediaWiki. There are more than 14,000 of these.
Basically we have: 1) Build a tool that uploads all the individuals slides required to make it work to Commons as SVGs https://owidimporter.toolforge.org/ 2) Build a tool that allows one to move through the slides in question in an interactive way https://mdwiki.org/wiki/WikiProjectMed:OWID?owid_list=Template:owidslider/Parkinsons%20deaths#gallery 3) Next step is to translate these interactive graphs to other languages which we plan to do with the svgtranslate tool. The hope is that even though a graph uses 100s of SVGs only one should require translation (the oldest world SVG) https://svgtranslate.toolforge.org/File:Parkinsons-disease-prevalence-ihme,World,1990.svg What I am looking for is a language interested in trialing this. Basically one needs to be an interface admin to activate this functionality. And then I need someone to translate the above listed SVG. If anyone is interested / has the capability, reach out.
