Hi all!
A quick reminder our monthly WikiSalon takes place this Thursday April 9th at
6.30pm at The Fold. (3359 26th St). [Please
register](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event:Bay_Area_Meetup_April_2026) so we
have an accurate headcount for food!
Alongside pizza, cake, and good company, we will have two lightning talks:
- Taking Pictures for the Commons, highlighting the work of volunteer
photographers;
- Local Pages: a dedicated search engine for the Bay Area, presenting a tool to
support our work in creating and maintaining local pages.
Feel free also to take the mic for up to 5 minutes to share what you have been
nerding about and working on this month.

DynamicWebPaige to make [a tool helping to add categories to orphan
pictures](https://bit.ly/wikicommons-category-suggester). Dreamyshade shared
her notes about improving reliability, and great discussions were had.
