It would be absolutely fantastic if we can organise ongoing training and sensitisation sessions for government departments in order to assist them to streamline timely uploading of public information.
These may also be conducted at universities where scientific research is published, for the publishing departments. They don't have to be wiki sessions per se, although as we know wiki is a very useful tool. But a lot of departments today (including NIC, I fear) seem to think that uploading .doc and scanned paper documents (even the Gazeete of India) is the same thing as publishing online. The statement released by Pranesh specifically states that the documents published online have to be machine readable.
