Given that this court judgment is based on EU law, it could potentially have quite far-reaching consequences for the legal status of COI editing in Wikipedia. Wikimedia Germany have commissioned a legal opinion from an expert. Could I suggest Wikimedia UK do the same? While the underlying EU Directive applies in both countries, there may be differences in national implementation. Andreas
