The delay has basically been down to the risk of patent litigation.**** At least one Wikimedia chapter has received letters from people who purport that QRpedia infringes on various patents.**** We do not believe this is the case and do not believe the probability of being involved in actual litigation is high. However if it did happen it could be very costly.**** So we have been taking advice on how to deal with this risk, and have reached a solution which will work.
