Two or more different epitopes or antigens can be recognized simultaneously by
bispecific antibodies owing to their distinct structural characteristics which
are engineered through various techniques. The binding affinities of these
antibodies are important parameters that mediate their efficacies and
suitability in many diseases such as cancer, autoimmune diseases and various
others. Creative Biolabs has great pleasure to inform our customers that we
provide a complete Ms service, which encompasses the bispecific antibody
design, engineering, production and analysis. With the most advanced technology
platforms, Creative Biolabs is in a position to assist buyers to evaluate and
develop the Bs4ABs further in the direction of their therapeutic use.

Key Concepts Related to Bispecific Antibody Binding Affinity:

Definition:

Binding affinity is the measure of the strength with which an antibody binds to
its target antigen. It can be measured in a number of ways, one of them being
the use of the dissociation constant Kd. Lower values of Kd are taken to imply
higher affinity.

Importance of Binding Affinity:

Efficacy: Targeting efficacy can be improved for bispecific antibodies through
use of higher binding affinity since this ensures tighter and more stable
interaction with most targets of the antibodies.

Specificity: Having increased affinity toward a specific target may grant
reduced off-target effects, hence enhancing the safety of this type of therapy.
