Staphylococcus epidermidis (SEP) is an opportunistic pathogen, and it is one of
the most important pathogens in nosocomial infections caused by indwelling
biological materials in patients, accounting for 39.00%. Although in vitro
experiments have shown that infected bacteria are sensitive to antibiotics,
they are difficult to remove in vivo. Staphylococcus epidermidis can form
biofilms on the surface of adherent materials in vivo, which is an important
cause of infection.
