Thank you for your feedback, Sebastian.
Only the most recent links to section titles have been indexed so far. We
are looking into indexing older versions of talk page to support this in
the future.
Just so you know, this only applies to the *topic links*. As you noticed,
comments permalinks work for any comment, no matter the date of publication.
As I had a few questions off-list and on wiki regarding missing comments, I
take the opportunity of this message to share my checklist for faulty
comments:
- if the signature or the timestamp was altered
- some users might have changed their username. This change is also done
on the permalinks database. But the change is not done on wiki's talk
pages, for instance when the permalink was used to create an
internal link.
- if the user part of the signature matches the minimum requirements
(link to user page, user talk page, or user contributions
- I saw a case where the user signature was linking only to a user
namespace subpage
- if the timestamp is standard compared to the other comments.
- I saw a case where a user signed with their username only (like a
~~~ signature, with no timestamp), or they have what seems to be a
signature made of subst-ed templates.
Please let me know if you find any comment that should have worked but
hasn't.
Hope this helps
Benoît
