All I know is I get burnt every time e.g., the translation of a built in page name changes, so linking to Rtd> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ --> 200 OK gives little more confidence than linking to Rtd> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page --> 200 OK
