That's the only option, and it must be not just opensource, but Free. The source must be Free, the spec must be Free, the patents must not be a burden, etc. Maybe you could try making it work with some of the free Flash players, such as Gnash or Swfdec. There's a good reason for making WMF projects accept only OGG and not MP3, for example. -- Amir E.
