In the past I was able to control the size of my watchlist by occasionally purging it by editing raw watchlist. However when Cat-a-lot gadget become available I initially did not configure it properly and all files I edit with it also ended up on my watchlist. Pretty soon my watchlist become too big to edit. I am now at 36k pages and I definitely need to purge it. > > What can be done about it? I asked few people and asked on some talk forums but nobody knew the answer. Clearly we need to institute some form of paging on the raw watchlist page for cases like this... The only thing I can think of (that doesnt involve changes to mediawiki) is write some js that goes through watchlistraw api module (which is paged) and deletes everything in a loop. -bawolff _______________________________________________ Wikitech-l mailing list Wikitech-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitech-l
